Destiny 2 is set to launch Act II of the Heresy episode on March 11, 2025, introducing the new activity ‘Court of Blades’ alongside a suite of fresh rewards. This addition aims to enrich the gameplay experience with challenging encounters and unique gear.​

‘Court of Blades’ Activity

‘Court of Blades’ is a three-player activity that challenges Guardians to confront escalating waves of enemies in a battle for dominance over the Taken King’s throne. Inspired by the original Destiny’s ‘Court of Oryx,’ this activity incorporates rune-based mechanics, allowing players to tailor their strategies and tackle increasingly difficult encounters.

New Rewards

Act II introduces five new weapons as part of the Heretical Arsenal:

• Glaive Kinetic Weapon

• Void Bow

• Sidearm

• Fusion Rifle

• Additional Unspecified Weapon

These additions offer players diverse options to enhance their arsenals and adapt to various combat scenarios. ​

Guardian Games Event

Coinciding with Act II’s release, the annual Guardian Games event returns, featuring class-based challenges and opportunities to earn exclusive rewards. Players can participate in various activities to showcase their class supremacy and earn unique items.
