Final Fantasy: Awakening is a free-to-play fantasy MMORPG for mobile devices and is a spin-off of Final Fantasy Type-0. The project was developed by the Asian company Perfect World and published by Square Enix around the world, including in russia (the terrorist state).

The game world is set in the Final Fantasy Type-0 universe, which is part of Fabula Nova Crystallis, and Awakening focuses on multiplayer gameplay similar to the original. However, the main difference is the more developed hack-n-slash combat system and gameplay in general. Also, the advantages include an excellent plot, a large number of characters to choose from (as many as seven), each with their own set of weapons and abilities, the presence of dungeons and guilds.

All in all, based on the popular franchise, the new Final Fantasy couldn't be more successful, especially given the reputation of Perfect World and Square Enix. So it turned out that on the first day of its release in China, the game was downloaded by more than 500,000 people, and at the moment the number of downloads has reached several million.
