Overview of the game Project EXA

Project EXA is one of the main candidates for the Zhdun icon in the coming years. Since 2012, the Bluehole studio (the creators of TERA) has been developing. The first rumors about the game came after the publication of a recruitment announcement for a new MMORPG on the company's website in 2013. Soon after, the first concept art appeared on the network, lit up at the NDC 2014 event, at which the development start date was indicated as 2012. But the most notable was May 2015, when one of the artists leaked renders of the game's characters to the network. The images were deleted a day later, but you can't fool Google - it remembers everything.

Initially, Project EXA was supposed to be a direct sequel to TERA, which was hinted at by the aforementioned announcement text and images in the renders, but the head of Bluehole denied this information, stating the independent nature of the new game. By the way, Project EXA is the working title of the game. Closer to the official show, it will probably change.
