Review of the game The Elder Scrolls Online

For many years, fans of The Elder Scrolls series have dreamed of an online version of their favorite project because a project with such rich lore, gameplay, and developments promised many exciting things and inspired well-founded hopes. The latest game in the TES series, Skyrim, gained such popularity that online was also welcomed by much of the gaming community.

History of events

In all parts of the Scrolls, the history of the hero and the world in which he lives is a significant game aspect. In The Elder Scrolls Online, they decided not to deviate from this principle: the storyline is fascinating, takes place in different territories of Tamriel, and involves other options for passing.

Chronologically, the events of the online game predate Skyrim by about ten centuries. The primary mission of the player is to return the stolen soul. Depending on the decision made in a particular task, the impact on the surrounding world can be different. However, players have the opportunity to help friends, regardless of their position.

Quests

As with most single-player and multiplayer games, players will spend a lot of their time completing quests, which in The Elder Scrolls Online are an exciting combination of traditional quests and The Secret World-style investigations. The study of the world around us gains paramount importance.

Combat system

The combat system in the online version is similar to other parts of the series. The left mouse button performs lunges and the right mouse button blocks attacks. Sieges

PvP in The Elder Scrolls Online is presented in the RvR format, where three factions fight for control of Cyrodiil. Each faction has its territory, and Cyrodiil is a disputed zone where all PvP battles occur. The goals of these battles are to capture control points, watchtowers, fortresses, and fortress sieges involving hundreds of players.
