Amazing Seasun Games has announced the ‘Global Storm’ Open Beta for their upcoming free-to-play multiplayer mech action game, Mecha BREAK. The beta is set to begin on February 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM UTC (5:00 AM ET / 2:00 AM PT) and will be available on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S platforms, featuring cross-play functionality.

Beta Features:

• Comprehensive Gameplay Access: Participants will have the opportunity to experience the opening tutorial, character and mech customization options, an explorable space station hub, and all three core game modes. Additionally, a training room and thirteen distinct mechs, known as ‘Strikers,’ will be available for testing.

• New ‘Mashmak’ PvPvE Mode: Debuting in this beta, ‘Mashmak’ is a tactical co-op mode where players battle over the resource-rich Mashmak Isles. This mode introduces dynamic environmental challenges, including unpredictable Corite pulse storms, requiring strategic team coordination.

• Updated Maps and Game Modes: The beta includes revised maps for the 6v6 ‘Operation VERGE’ and 3v3 ‘Ace Arena’ game modes, enhancing competitive play with new layouts and strategic elements.

• Enhanced Customization and Mechanics: Players can explore new customization options for both pilots and mechs, utilize combat finishing moves, and experience balance adjustments to various Strikers. A player reputation system has also been implemented to promote positive in-game interactions.

Mecha BREAK is scheduled for full release in Spring 2025 on PC and as a console launch exclusive for Xbox Series X|S, with plans to expand to additional platforms later in the year. Players interested in joining the Open Beta can download it directly from the game’s official website or respective platform stores once it becomes available.
