In a landmark update, Tibia, the long-standing MMORPG by CipSoft, is set to introduce a new playable class—the Monk—for the first time in its 28-year history. This addition marks a significant expansion beyond the game’s original four vocations: Knight, Paladin, Druid, and Sorcerer.
Monk Class Overview
The Monk is designed as a melee combatant who combines martial arts prowess with mystical abilities. This class offers a unique blend of offensive and supportive skills, allowing players to engage in close-quarters combat while also healing and supporting allies.
Key Features:
- Harmony: A resource accumulated through specific actions, used to cast certain spells.
- Virtues: Players can activate one of three virtues at a time, each enhancing different aspects of the Monk’s abilities, such as boosting harmony spells, increasing fist-fighting prowess, or amplifying healing capabilities.
- Serene State: A powerful state achieved under certain conditions, such as being distant from team members or facing fewer than six monsters, which enhances the Monk’s performance.
