8BitMMO is a browser-based MMORPG that is a real treat for fans of retro style. The project consists of eight-bit 2D graphics and mono sound in conjunction with an open world. The world in the game is 100% created by the players themselves, so if you go to the servers now, you will surely see an impressive infrastructure. But do not worry about the availability of free space - there will definitely be enough for everyone.

The project is not a text project, as you might think, but the player controls a real character here, which has to be distinguished by several pixels. The basis of the gameplay is the construction of: cities, for lovers of architecture; dungeons, for lovers of monsters and traps, and much more. The only and probably the main difference from the same Minecraft here is that the players find adventures themselves. When in minecraft a creeper makes you lay bricks with his hiss, in 8BitMMO players have to move far from the habitable zone in order to find several analogues of a creeper, called LawyerCats here and not looking so intimidating.

Also, as you can guess from the name, the animation in the game leaves much to be desired. And the top view and the minimum number of polygons make it, perhaps, too retro. But judging by the map, this does not seem to limit the players, there are a lot of them and they continue and continue to build beautiful eight-bit complexes, fight among themselves and communicate.
