Review of the game Battlestar Galactica Online

Battlestar Galactica Online is a full-fledged, space-based, browser-based MMORPG developed by NBC Universal in conjunction with publisher Bigpoint. The project differs from similar ones with a deep plot based on the popular series of the same name, as well as an interesting style that immerses users in the atmosphere of a dark and cruel Cylon war with people. By the way, the game is not deprived of graphics either, because it uses the time-tested Unity3D engine.

As mentioned above, there are two warring parties in Battlestar Galactica Online: humans and Cylons. Each has its own unique technologies, ships, skills and avatars. The latter allow you to freely walk around the command posts and communicate, but the main action here takes place with the participation of spacecraft of various types, of which there are a great many.

All ships in the game can be improved in terms of characteristics, as well as attach new weapon and armor modules to them, which open as the character is upgraded. In addition to equipment, spaceships can use over 30 skills to choose from, divided into different categories: industry, buffs/debuffs, maneuvering, and attack/defense. Other features of the project include: four types of resources, the ability to engage in excavations and looting, and complete various quests.

In general, if it were not for the plot, then Battlestar Galactica Online would have been dubbed an ordinary MMO in the Sci-fi style, however, the popular series looking over its shoulder does its job and therefore the project looks promising and solid.
