ElyonA:IR, Ascent: Infinite Realm game overview
Elyon game review
Formerly known as Project W and A:IR (an acronym for Ascent: Infinite Realm), Elyon is an Unreal Engine 3 steampunk MMORPG from the makers of TERA that was released in Korea, North America and Europe.
The gameplay takes place both on earth and in heaven. Personal aircraft is crucial, serving not only as transport but also as a means of pumping and interaction. The player can own an individual ship and fight on it. Participating in PvP and PvE events as a colossal faction ship crew member is possible in addition to the ships playing wingsuits, gliders, jetpacks and ground transport.
As for the characters themselves, users can choose from several races and standard classes and then go to develop a hero in various dungeons, locations, or, as mentioned above, fights in the sky.
As written above, Elyon is an RvR (Realm vs Realm) MMORPG. The developers promise unique battlefields that allow you to combine various tactics and mechanics, including ground and air battles on behalf of the hero, the use of clan and personal ships, guns, vehicles, military equipment, mines, etc. Players can strategically plan landings using gliding, jetpacks, and more.
Aircraft can be modified by changing the aircraft type, the number of passengers, appearance, colour and characteristics. The character's appearance is also customizable, as well as his abilities, equipment, and emotions. Five playable classes have been announced: Assassin, Mystic, Gunner, Warlord and Sorceress. The ability to customize hunting lands, difficulty, and even create quests is mentioned, and do not forget about the system of home ownership with the ground.
The combat system is worth mentioning separately. Initially, it was implemented as a target. Players had to select a target and only use a combination of skills. But on April 1, 2020, the developers decided to switch to a non-target system used in Tera.
Before you is another potential hit in a beautiful wrapper with a fairly standard set of features collected from popular MMORPGs. You are waiting for various air and ground bosses, a cycle of changing seasons, fishing, summons and pets, mass PvE events, mass PvP battlefields and ... "tramp" (!).
