Review of the game Eternal Lands

If your parents have not yet thrown away the old Soviet calculators or the first computers, then you need to urgently look for them. This technique has finally found a real use. This is a new strange and primitive game from a domestic manufacturer called Eternal Lands. If you want to learn more about this mediocre project, you can do so on the MMOTOP.ORG website. However, is it worth it?

Peculiarities

The game client weighs only 50Mb, which already says a lot. The creators of the game themselves consider it a real "sandbox". They explain this by the fact that there are no usual classes here, and therefore players can study any abilities and skills. True, apart from this, there are no signs of a classic “sandbox” here. The game is a mixture of banal bored components and wretched execution. There are only 6 races in Eternal Lands, of which only three are free. These are humans, dwarfs and elves. To play for other races, you will have to pay real money. However, given the meager number of players on the servers, this is hardly worth doing.

As for the graphics, it is simply miserable. The picture is more like a mixture of Tetris with children's comics. All this is accompanied by a terrible soundtrack, a lot of lags and a disgusting interface. Summing up all this, it immediately becomes clear that this game hardly deserves the title of MMORPG.

Eternal Lands has several servers, among which there are even PvP servers, which are the most popular. This is the only place in the game where there is at least something interesting. Quests in the game are quite primitive and uninteresting. In total, there are 12 professions in the game, among which there are both peaceful and combat ones. You can study them either separately or master them all at the same time. To somehow cope with the glaring poverty of content, the developers used a rather cunning trick. They made Eternal Lands the so-called open-source project, where any player can add any of their things to the game.

Conclusion

Of course, this does not fundamentally change the situation and Eternal Lands is still a project that shows how it is better not to play online. Unfortunately, there is no other use for this game.
