Review of the game Fishing Planet

Fishing Planet is a fishing simulator with a fair amount of realism, good graphics and the possibility of a multiplayer game. The main goal of the developers was to erase the line that separates real and virtual fishing, which they did quite well.

Using various methods, including photo-scanning (an assembly of several photos of a realistic object in the game), the authors created a beautiful, life-filled world where there are hundreds of different objects: snags, logs, rocks, etc. Of course, there are doubts about the fact that they had to photograph each cobblestone separately, but the result is amazing.

Another pride of Fishing Planet is a realistic simulation of water, which takes into account wind, temperature, current and the activity of the user himself. For example, pulling a fish out of the water, you can see how it resists, creating splashes, trying to go to the bottom, foaming the water and pulling on the line.

The main objects in the game, the fish, were also given a lot of attention. Many different species, differing from each other in bite and habits, depending on temperature, depth, weather, time of day and a bunch of other factors. But even despite such a serious approach of the authors, playing the game is very pleasant and easy.

And finally, since we have an MMO in front of us, the locations in the game also play the role of hubs, designed for a number of from 5 to 20 gamers with a chat function that allows you to consult with each other or show off your catch.
