Global Soccer was a free-to-play football-themed MMORPG developed by Firekom Studio and released in early 2012. The game offered players the opportunity to build their own football careers, create clubs, and compete in various leagues and tournaments against rival teams. Players could fully customize their characters, choosing their name, gender, skin tone, hairstyle, and more, allowing for a personalized gaming experience.

In Global Soccer, players selected from three distinct classes: Striker, Midfielder, and Defender. Each class had its own development path and specific skills tailored to their position on the pitch. For instance, while a Defender could take a shot at goal, their proficiency would not match that of a Striker. The game emphasized staying within designated zones on the field, with players accumulating stress points and experiencing skill reductions when operating outside their primary areas.

Matches featured a variety of actions, including throw-ins, corner kicks, assists, passes, free kicks, strikes, and penalty kicks. Players could also perform celebratory dances after scoring goals, adding a fun and interactive element to the gameplay.

Beyond the football matches, Global Soccer offered a virtual world known as Global Soccer City. Here, players could navigate through various buildings, interact with NPCs, and access different facilities. The city included amenities such as gyms, restaurants, and personal homes, enhancing the immersive experience. Players earned virtual money after each match, which could be spent on items like clothing, cars, and meals, further developing their in-game persona and increasing their prestige.

Despite its innovative approach to combining football simulation with MMORPG elements, Global Soccer struggled to maintain a substantial player base. The game was eventually discontinued, and as of now, it is no longer accessible.
