Review of the game Haven and Hearth

Haven and Hearth is a survival/sandbox MMORPG in a fantasy setting with an isometric view, permanent death and a classless character system, done in the manner of Don't Starve Together. Unlike the latter, the graphics of Haven and Hearth are more cartoony and not like a comic book, and it will be easier to survive here.

But you should not relax, since the game has complete freedom of action, then you should not be afraid of mobs, but other players who are ready to get into your pocket or an unlocked house while you sleep and steal valuable resources. You can “build up” anywhere: near caves, rivers, mountains, NPC villages, mines, in the forest and on various ledges in order to avoid robbery.

The pumping system here is done well. The level and characteristics increase from almost any business, be it gathering, crafting, killing, logging, and so on. Even ordinary food increases stats. But such a system will not always work, in the future, there is less and less experience and you decently start getting it exclusively for various “goodies”, such as items found in the wild or crafted high-level products.

As in any normal sandbox, in Haven & Hearth you can organize economic activities, build fortress dwellings, and even establish a clan faction to jointly protect territories, which can later develop into a full-fledged city. The only negatives include the lack of a plot and permanent death (death forever), after which you have to start over, and all your belongings will pass to the new owner in the face of the one who killed you.

In general, Haven and Hearth is a worthy alternative to Don't Starve Together, made at a fairly high level and allowing you to empathize with your protege, constantly pull him out of various troubles and share your free time with him.
