The plot develops within the framework of global space colonization. And in order to move into the depths of the galaxy, humanity has resorted to using the technology of growing people from test tubes. You have to become such a hero from a test tube. There is no specific goal in the game, the players create history with their actions: you can build new stations or get hired by existing ones, or maybe you want to join the ranks of Federation officers becoming the guardian of law and order. We note one interesting detail in the game, all its elements, from clothes to the stations themselves, can be restored anew in case of complete destruction and destruction. In addition, Dean Hall assured that such processes as genetics, chemistry, and biology will be realistic in ION.

Subsequently, the character upgrade will be carried out when performing automatic and social contracts, moreover, automatic ones require the performance of strictly defined work that is given to a player with a high rank, and social ones are written by the gamers themselves. As for skills, there will be so many of them in ION that even in a year of constant play you will not be able to master even fifty percent of the total. In addition, all of them will be distributed according to their professional affiliation: atmosphere, engineering, medicine, chemistry, combat training, and so on.

In the game, a surprise awaits you in the form of permanent death, but given the possibility of cloning, this is not so scary, but still unpleasant. There are many ways to make ends meet in the game, it can be banal hunger, radiation burns or murder. But the Federation does not favor murderers, so you need to be prepared for the fact that you can be arrested by the authorities.

At the moment, everything described is only plans and developments, but even this is enough to arouse the interest of fans of serious MMORPGs. By the way, in ION there will be only one open world for all participants, so it will not work to settle on a separate server, you will have to survive with hundreds of other players, provided that they purchase this game.
