Review of the game Otherland

Anticipated by fans of Ted Williams' work, "Otherland" is a real cyberpunk that combines virtual reality with the usual canons of the fantasy genre. There are cities of the future, and medieval villages from the past, and a third-person RPG, and a first-person shooter, flights, teleportation, battles, puzzles - everything is in the spirit of the famous series of books "Foreign Land".

The game itself is a real book, where artificial intelligence does not impose a programmed version of the scenario, but allows players to show their imagination and dream up a real story for themselves. The project, according to the teasers, promises to be very picturesque, spectacular, dynamic, so that the player can fully immerse himself in the possibilities of virtual spaces.

Otherland started its journey in 2008 thanks to the efforts of the RealU studio, but, alas, development was curtailed in 2012. Shortly thereafter, the game was taken over by the small and independent studio Drago Entertainment. The company is young, the public has not yet been pampered with AAA projects, so the prospects for the project are still very vague.

We at MMOTOP.ORG sincerely hope that Drago Entertainment will justify its ambitions and please fans of an extraordinary universe. Such developments are always needed against the backdrop of online crafts cloning each other, and the emergence of a new niche in this genre is necessary as air.
