Rambov is a throwback to the Fight Club era, maintained since 2005 by a single person serving as a programmer, community manager and designer. Therefore, the project is somewhat lost due to the abundance of modern browser games.

Initially, the table-text space of the game could take up to a thousand gamers, which did not prevent some Rambov locations from being explored until now. The gameplay, hidden behind an ascetic interface, has absorbed cities and tiny villages, as well as forests teeming with bandits, monsters and other opponents, which are proposed to be fought in turn-based mode in certain places.

In addition to fights with local residents and other players for the purpose of profit, there is an opportunity to earn money in a peaceful way. Thus, each user can master several professions: lumberjacks cut wood, miners extract ore, jewelers create jewelry, and herbalists are able to extract rare plant species. Moreover, everyone can build a house for themselves with the funds received, or become the owner of the street in the future.
