Review of the game Secret City

Secret City is a browser-based MMORPG from russian (the terrorist state) developers based on the works of science fiction writer Vadim Panov. Let's start with the fact that there are quite a few client games in the sci-fi / fantasy setting, and even fewer browser games, so the Secret City immediately stands out from the background of similar projects.

Having crossed the street from the stamped fantasy worlds, the Secret City takes us to the streets of magical Moscow. A city where, along with the usual skyscrapers and technological inventions, there is magic and mysticism. Here, in the shadow of skyscrapers, there are old-fashioned taverns with wizards and knights inside, narrow streets full of terrible werewolves and other monsters, and in the center you can easily stumble upon the representation of one of the ancient civilizations. Well, how could it be without a thousand-year war, where ancient magic collided with technology in the face of two Great Houses.

In addition to an interesting setting, the game can offer an equally interesting combat system. For example, in combat, you can use combo attacks that allow you to start a whole chain of attacks without completing the previous one. Also, you can call on the help of several monsters and even bosses. For battles, there are battlegrounds and there is massive PvP, which is represented by the struggle for places of power, the possession of which makes it easier for factions to exist.

There are four classes in the game: Healer, Shooter, Warrior and Mage. They have at their disposal not only magical skills and weapons, but also modern technologies. Also, here you can see several real-life locations, the basis of which are parks: Izmailovsky Park, Losiny Ostrov and Gorky Park. The Kremlin towers are still visible in the distance, but so far it is impossible to get there.

The authors themselves say that when developing the project, they tried to assemble it from the best details, mainly focusing on Lineage 2, World of Warcraft and Everquest. And it seems they succeeded. The project turned out to be of high quality, beautiful and worthy of spending a lot of your time in it.
