Storm Online is a free-to-play 2.5D fantasy MMORPG developed by Chengdu Aurora Technology Development Co. Ltd, first launched in China in July 2007. The game immerses players in a rich, mythical world where four distinct nations vie for supremacy, offering a blend of engaging quests and dynamic player-versus-player (PvP) combat.

Players can choose from three gender-locked classes:

• Warrior: Male characters wielding falchions and long swords, serving as strong tanks and melee damage dealers with area-of-effect (AOE) stun abilities. They can specialize in Swordsmanship or the Art of Saber.

• Vast Clouds: Vengeful and courageous, disliking the Stable Earth nation.
• Stable Earth: Loyal to the Gods, honorable and steadfast.

Storm Online offers a variety of quest types, including main storyline quests known as Plot Quests, which unlock as players reach certain levels. The game emphasizes a balance between questing and PvP, providing opportunities for thrill-seekers to engage in constant battles due to the tension and hostility among the warring nations.

Initially well-received in Taiwan upon its May 2008 launch by Unalis Co. Ltd, the game featured endorsements from Pili puppets, a popular cultural element in Taiwan. The first English version was scheduled for release in November 2010 by Shanda Games from its international office in Singapore.
