Fans of the anime genre and the Sword Art Online series in particular can rejoice. Your biggest dream can come true! Tech giant known company IBM has announced a new MMO project for virtual reality (VR) Sword Art Online. In the game you will meet familiar characters, including Kirito and Asuna, and voice acting will be done by actors who had a hand in the original anime.
The development somehow uses a patented IMB technology called IBM Watson, aimed at implementing a system of cognitive computing (simulation of human decisions). Also, Sword Art Online will use SoftLayer technology, which is a cloud storage and work with data on a powerful infrastructure of IBM servers. Another technological feature will be control through body movements.
