For many gamers, it is surprising that only four specialists are involved in the creation and improvement of the multi-platform MMORPG game Vendetta Online. Of course, this makes respect for this team of specialists. Recall that the project was launched in 1998, as already mentioned on the MMOTOP.ORG website. Already in 2002, beta testing of the game began. It went on sale officially in 2004.

Plot

It is clear that for any game in the MMORPG genre, the plot does not represent anything interesting and is rather a secondary component. At the same time, the creators of Vendetta Online decided to take this issue seriously.

The project has a long prehistory, the events of which unfold between the third and fourth millennium. This story is told by a monk representing the Itani race. This prehistory includes such major events as the opening of a portal near Saturn, the active development of biomedical technologies and human travel across the expanses of the galaxy.

All playable factions, of which there are three, are described in great detail. You will be able to learn about the origin of each faction, its features and the history of each famous person. In general, the whole plot in the game Vendetta Online is based on deceit, cunning and betrayal. Moreover, at the beginning of the game, two of the three factions are at war with each other.

Game world

In Vendetta Online, the game world is large. The game has more than 30 galactic sectors. Each of them has 256 zones to move. The whole point of the game is that you have to travel through space and complete various quests. In addition, the player can engage in trading, piracy and mining.

Gameplay

As for the gameplay, it is close in style to EVE Online. There is also one single server here. There are 9 types of ships in the game. Each of them has a variety of designs. In addition, each faction has one unique type of ship.

The role component includes five types of skills. There are skills in light and heavy weapons, trading abilities and mining skills. In Vendetta Online, the graphics look somewhat outdated and similar in appearance to Galaxy On Fire 2. Of course, the paid project should look a little more presentable. Although, given that only four specialists are working on the game, then this level of graphics can be quite explained. In Vendetta Online, all battles are fought in real time using a non-target system.

prospects

Not so long ago, the creators of Vendetta Online managed to port the game to the Android platform. In the near future, it is planned to release the project on iPad tablets. True, it is not yet clear how the classic Sci-Fi MMORPG can be played without a keyboard and mouse. However, the developers apparently already know how to solve this problem.
