World of WarCraft: Classic is a standalone version of World of Warcraft designed to satisfy fans' nostalgia and take them back to the very beginning of their journey, back in 2004. All mechanics, characters and their models, even talents are recreated in great detail. It is worth noting that the game immediately gained popularity among hardcore players and aroused dissatisfaction among casual players. The fact is that most of the elements of the gameplay in the "classic" are noticeably different from the current version. For example, the enemy's cast bar is not shown, the cost of things in the inventory, movement is carried out only with the help of ground mounts, and so on. Even flights are prohibited.

Other than that, Wolrd of Warcraft Classic is similar to the "original". It also has an interesting plot with the heroes of the world of Azeroth, a variety of classes, simple character customization and locations that users have long known by heart. It's worth noting that even though the game continues to scare off casuals, it doesn't even seem to bother Blizzard. After all, there are more than enough old people in the game and it will not lose popularity for a long time.
