Lann Dual Sword Abilities in Vindictus: Defying Fate

NEXON has published details of the second hero of the upcoming action role-playing game Vindictus: Defying Fate. It’s about a male character named Lann who fights with two swords. You can play for him during the closed pre-alpha, scheduled for March 14. We are publishing a translation of this mini-guide into Russian.

Character attack

Unlike Fiona, Lann does not have a defense skill, but can use the additional skill “Evasion” instead.

Enter the battle with his fast attack speed and dodging skills.

Evasion

(Double Dodge Skill: B + B on Xbox controller / Space + Spacebar on keyboard)

Lann is a character with the Double Dodge skill.

Pressing the “Dodge” button immediately after successfully dodging allows you to avoid enemy attacks.

Active skill

Active skills are used using LB + XYAB on the Xbox controller and buttons 1~4 on the keyboard/mouse.

Since each active skill has a duration, try to use combinations of skills that are suitable for a particular situation.

Active skill Lanna 1: a strong frontal strike with two swords, stunning the enemy for a short period of time

Lanna Active Skill 2: continuously strikes nearby enemies while spinning. The last attack of this skill stuns the enemy for a short period of time.

Active skill Lanna 3: strong blow from the front.

Tip: After using this active skill, pressing the Heavy Attack button will allow you to continue a series of additional attacks.

Active skill Lanna 4: instantly allows you to use Lanna’s unique skill “Rage”.

You can use this skill up to 3 times, and after each successful attack you can use the Unique Skill button to link it to the normal Rage.

With this mechanic, you can chain a Fury attack up to 6 times.

“Fury” Lanna

(Unique Skill: RB button on Xbox controller / TAB key on keyboard)

Fury is Lann’s unique skill that allows him to rush past an enemy and deliver a powerful blow.

You can use this skill to deal damage while dodging all enemy attacks, or to quickly close in on an enemy before a fight.
