Open-world action RPG Outward 2 announced

Publisher Nine Dots Publishing and developer Nine Dots Studio have announced Outward 2, a sequel to the action role-playing game Outward, released in 2019. The project is being developed for PC and unnamed consoles, and the release date has not yet been determined.

Outward 2 is an open world action RPG set in the fantasy world of Aurai. The authors promise an exciting world with a calendar of events for the whole year, unrivaled unique encounters and an improved combat system. The difficulty is stated to be high, rewarding preparation and ingenuity. The plot will be non-linear, with various branches. Like the first part, the sequel can be played either alone or in co-op.
