Path of Exile 2 gameplay video talks about the features of the Huntress class

At the GGG Live broadcast, the developers of Path of Exile 2 shared details of the “Hunter” class (in the English version “Ranger”). When implementing this class, their goal was to create “quick bow gameplay” and looked to the archer Legolas from Lord of the Rings as an ideal example.

The Huntress can move while shooting and using skills, but this imposes a reduced movement speed on her. However, if you saddle a roa, well known to all players of the first part,
then you can avoid the movement speed penalty during the attack. For greater mobility, use a roll or jumping skills. Enemies can be slowed down using several skills from the arsenal of this class, for example, by freezing or holding with the help of plants.

The Huntress can hit her enemies in a variety of ways: poison, lightning, or simple damage with classic skills such as a sniper shot. In addition, a debuff can be applied to enemies to increase incoming damage by 30%.

Don’t forget about the “stone system” that allows you to customize your character to suit your play style or make something unusual out of him. For example, to a simple “poisoning” you can add “corrode armor” and add the ability to transfer this debuff to neighboring targets.

Let us remind you that open testing has been postponed to the end of 2024, and an alpha test is planned for June.
