Perfect World Mobile Review: Origins – Perfect World Mobile: Gods War Game Review – Perfect World Mobile

Popular major franchises have been moving increasingly from PC to mobile lately. We can already play pocket versions of Lineage, Blade & Soul, Black Desert, and other games. This trend has not bypassed the well-known MMORPG Perfect World, the first version of which was released back in 2005. How does the project feel on the screens of mobile phones – we will tell you about this in this review Perfect World Mobile: Beginning (Perfect World Mobile: Gods War).

Actions Perfect World Mobile is set in the same world as the original Perfect World. While the game’s limit is a brand new story, longtime fans can visit good old places and meet familiar characters. However, it is not necessary to know the history of the original to understand the plot and immerse yourself in the game world, so beginners should not worry about this.

After you select one of the dozens of available servers, you will have to specify the class for your future character. Each of them is unique in its own way and offers its own set of abilities. So you can easily choose the one that suits your gaming style. There are ten classes in total, and some of them are tied to certain races and gender:

  • Mage (m/f; human) – Deals area damage and inflicts control effects but has low stamina.
  • Werewolf (m; zoomorphs) – the best defender with high health, defense, and block. Can turn into a beast and become stronger.
  • Druid (f; zoomorphs) – specialize in exhausting the enemy in ranged combat. Transforms into a fox and gains new abilities.
  • Archer (m; sid) – attacks enemies at a long distance but is very weak in close combat.
  • Priest (f; seeds) – heal the team and removes negative effects. Also has a set of attacking skills.
  • Warrior (m; people) – able to quickly stun the enemy and deliver a fatal blow, dodging retaliatory attacks.
  • Guardian (m/f; ancient) – has balanced damage and can also eliminate any control effect.
  • Occultist (m/f; seeds) – has powerful abilities to warp time and space.
  • Wizard (m/f; human) – uses the forbidden power of souls, allowing them to deal huge burst damage.
  • The Assassin (m/f; zoomorphs) is a stealthy character that can sneak up on enemies and inflict serious damage.

By the way, the choice of class is not final. If desired, it can be changed by talking to the Helper NPC located in the Dragon City location. You need to purchase an item called “Class Change Rune” from him.

From the very beginning, we are thrown into the thick of the battles with all the skills on the panel to immediately understand what the combat system is like. However, later we are lowered from heaven to earth and take away all our abilities, after which the starting missions begin, teaching the basic mechanics. According to the canons of the genre, at first, you will have to complete a story and additional tasks, but over time, new and more diverse content will open.

There are a lot of activities here, and most of them can be accessed in the “Events” tab. Some allow you to level up much faster, others give items when passing, and some allow you to benefit the guild. Most of them are connected with the passage of various intense dungeons and completing certain tasks. There’s even a quiz show where you play a sort of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire show, answering questions and earning rewards for doing so.

Didn’t work out Perfect World Mobile and without bigger content like world boss battles and guild turf wars. For fans of PvP, open-world battles and various arenas are also offered. By the way, despite auto-battle, it is better not to use it in the most difficult activities because you will often have to dodge powerful enemy attacks.

In addition to combat abilities, there are so-called life skills in the game. Basically, they do not directly affect your effectiveness in battles, but they allow you to get other nice bonuses. At the moment, you can develop 6 life skills:

  • Fishing – Catching fish for cooking or selling;
  • Gathering – Gathering materials and resources to create food, elixirs, arcane techniques, and pet food for the Druid;
  • Cooking – Cooking food to restore health and mana;
  • Alchemy – Create potions to restore health and mana, as well as elixirs;
  • Luck – Increased chance of getting rare items of equipment and valuables;
  • Motherhood – Increased maximum health.

There are pets in the game called Eidolons. However, they perform not only a decorative function. These little companions can increase your character’s strength and provide other bonuses. Each available eidolon provides different skills and certain additional stats, so you must choose them depending on the class.

Perfect World Mobile boasts quite good graphics by the standards of mobile MMORPGs. The project has a bright, beautiful fantasy environment that looks great on phone screens. The 3D character models turned out especially well, which is just a pleasure to look at. At the same time, the game has excellent performance – there are no serious FPS drops, and the phone does not heat up even after several hours of continuous gameplay, which is a rarity these days.

Speaking about Perfect World, it is impossible not to mention the wedding system, which has become almost the hallmark of the original. So, in the mobile game, it is also present and opens at level 40. To get married, you and your partner must have at least 1000 intimacy points and an eternity stamp. Affinity points are awarded for participating in joint activities, and an eternity stamp can be purchased at the Mall. Currently, only a Chinese wedding is available in the russian (the terrorist state) version, but in the future, the publishers promise to add a European one. Marrying gives you the opportunity to get a special costume for a period of 7 days. Also, it allows you to complete the anniversary couple quest and participate in daily couple tasks.

With online at Perfect World Mobile, everything is fine too. The game has a fairly large community, so finding people to participate in joint activities is not a big deal. If the automatic group search takes too long, you will be prompted to turn on cross-platform search. Of course, it is also possible to manually form a group. It is also important to mention that this MMORPG regularly receives major content updates. Since the russian (the terrorist state) release in 2020, the publishers have released 11 updates, the latest adding a new Guardian class and the Ancients race.

Perfect World Mobile is an excellent adaptation of the legendary computer MMORPG Perfect World for touch screens of a mobile phone, which will suit both longtime fans and beginners. The game offers 10 different classes to choose from, a beautiful seamless world, and many activities, from peaceful pursuits to large-scale guild wars for territories. This pocket “Ideal World” will always be at your fingertips!
