Testing of the space MMORPG Space Nation Online will take place in April 2024

The developers of the space MMORPG Space Nation Online have announced closed beta testing. It will begin on April 1 and will last three weeks, and “thousands” of invited players will be able to take part. The main goal will be to test the economy and the general state of the game. We can expect open testing in the summer, and the release of the project is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024.

Space Nation Online is a space MMORPG using blockchain technology. The developers hope to create “something like World of Warcraft in space” and are preparing a well-developed storyline, a lot of side quests, as well as a living economy controlled by players.

At the helm of the project are Jerome Wu, former World of Warcraft producer, director Roland Emmerich (Independence Day), Tony Tang (who worked on Warframe), and Marco Weber (producer of The Thirteenth Floor). They intend to support the project for at least a decade, including the release of animated short films and TV series.
