The Chinese release date for the free RPG Persona 5: The Phantom X has been announced

Perfect World Games has announced the exact release date for a free turn-based RPG called Persona 5: The Phantom X. The game will be released on April 12, 2024, but for now only in China. The new product will be available on both PC and mobile devices running iOS and Android. Unfortunately, nothing is known yet about entering the global market.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is a free-to-play mobile jRPG set in the Persona 5 universe. The game takes place in Tokyo and involves the new team of Phantom Thieves. The new product retains the style and basic mechanics of the original but offers improved graphics, an adapted interface, and controls for mobile devices. You play as a high school student who attends school during the day and engages in various activities such as baseball or watching movies with friends. After studying, they will be able to enter another world, which features palaces with different themes, and use their Personas to fight opponents in exciting battles.
