The new season in Fortnite is dedicated to the mythology of Ancient Greece

Epic Games has launched the second season of the fifth chapter of Fortnite, entitled “Myths and Heroes.” This season is dedicated to ancient Greek mythology and adds themed locations to the Battle Royale map, such as the Great Gate, the Dark Kingdom and Gladiator City.

The developers have added two new abilities to the game that can be found among the loot. “Lightning of Zeus” allows the player to rise into the air and deal great electrical damage, and “Wings of Icarus” allows the player to soar into the sky and dive straight at enemies. There are also new weapons such as the Gatekeeper Shotgun, the Harbinger SMG, the Huntress Sniper Rifle, and the Untamed Assault Rifle. There are also new weapon modifications, such as a thermal imager and a speed grip.

As usual, a new battle pass has been launched with free and paid rewards. The premium version allows you to unlock several skins themed from ancient Greek mythology, such as Cerberus, Aphrodite, Poseidon, Medusa, Zeus, Artemis and Hades.
