The Nightingale team spoke about priorities in the further development of the game

Inflexion Games CEO Aaryn Flynn published a letter in which he thanked all Nightingale fans for their support, and also shared his plans for the future. He noted that overall the launch was successful, but not without problems. For this reason, the team decided to pay special attention to eliminating them.

“While we are pleased with some elements of our launch, we are not satisfied with a number of others. These include network issues, confusing or missing features for core systems like crafting, and important updates to combat. With yesterday’s patch, we began to address many of the most pressing shortcomings and bugs in the overall gaming experience. But we still have a lot to do, and we want to share with you the next batch of the most important updates,” the letter says.

Below are the short and medium-term plans of the developers.

Short term:

  • Reduce connection problems
  • Possibility to skip training
  • Additional gameplay balancing
  • Fixing exploits when crafting ingots
  • Farming cycle improvements
  • Automatic stacking of items in storage

Medium-term:

  • Craft from storage
  • Crafting queue
  • Adding an offline mode
  • Quest Update
  • Additional NPC Features
  • Improved enemy AI
  • New building components
  • New throwing weapons

In addition, the developers plan to add new content, including biomes, major and minor maps, new weapons, new enemies and much more.
